Who We Are

Founded in 2026, Lofty Heights Development Hub is dedicated to improving access to education for children and young adults, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Through educational sponsorships, scholarships and developmental programmes, we help remove the financial and social barriers that keep young people out of school, so they can become productive, responsible and impactful members of society.

Our Vision

A world where every child and young adult has access to quality education, opportunities for growth, and the support needed to thrive and reach their full potential.

Our Mission

To empower children and young adults, especially those facing social or economic barriers, through education, mentorship and entrepreneurial innovation, equipping them to become responsible leaders and positive contributors to society.

The reality

Why We Do What We Do

In Nigeria, a child’s future is too often decided by the circumstances they were born into, not by their potential.

18.3 million

Children out of school

About one in three Nigerian children is not in school: 10.2 million at primary level and 8.1 million at junior secondary level, according to UNICEF.

17.5 million

Orphans and vulnerable children

Estimated by Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, roughly one in four children at the time.

60%

Of out of school children are girls

UNICEF data shows girls carry the heaviest burden of missing out on an education.

How we exist to bridge the gap

Behind every number is a child with a name, a dream and a talent. Lofty Heights Development Hub exists to turn those numbers into stories of hope.

We remove the cost barrier

Sponsorships and scholarships cover school fees and learning needs, so poverty does not decide who gets to learn.

We reach those left behind

Orphans and underprivileged children are our priority, because they are the most likely to be forgotten.

We build the whole child

Mentorship, skills and entrepreneurship prepare young people to lead, earn and give back.

The Heart Behind Lofty Heights

Cecilia Undie, Founder of Lofty Heights Development Hub

Education, rightly given, can shape a child’s mind towards greatness.

I started Lofty Heights Development Hub to serve as an extension of the arm of Jesus to a dying world.

I have had access to quality education, and I have seen first hand how the right education can shape a child’s mind towards greatness. I was also a beneficiary of a scholarship for my master’s degree, and it was life changing for me. I believe every child deserves that same chance.

In five years, I hope to see a thriving community of children with renewed hope, who see themselves as better contributing members of society.
